This fifth installment in the saga of Zatoichi the Blind Swordsman tells a touching story of heroism as well as delivering plenty of action. Zatoichi (Shintaro Katsu) and a travelling companion are asked by a dying man to protect a servant girl, Omitsu (Shiho Fujimora). Zatoichi also finds himself bound to the duties of two gangs who have interests in the girl.
