Victor (Pedro Infante) is killed while trying to clear his name after being blackmailed by Eduardo, old associate. The police find Raul, a bread delivery man (also Infante) who looks just like Victor, so that they can use him as a decoy to catch Eduardo. Raul suddenly standing in for a movie star, finds himself involved in several comical cases of mistaken identity.
