This Argentinean drama tells the story of two childhood friends who reconnect at crisis points in their adult lives. Joaquin is an agoraphobic 31-year-old living in his father's house, locked away in a world of his own mental creation. With his father, his dog, and his psychoanalyst Balbis as his only connections to the outside world, Joaquin is facing a life of misery, and possibly a stay in a mental institution. Meanwhile, Mara is an actress struggling to find her way in the world who lacks direction, commitment, and the willingness to face her problems head on. The future appears to be grim until Joaquin and Mara reunite, their lives changing in ways not even Joaquin could have imagined.
