The Noah’s Ark Principle (DVD)

The first film from German director Roland Emmerich (INDEPENDENCE DAY), THE NOAH'S ARK PRINCIPLE finds the world on the brink of a third World War. Set in the future (1997!), the film follows the two man crew of the Florida Arklab, a European space station that can control the weather anywhere on Earth. Conceived as a civil project that would be used to help alleviate suffering and end famine due to drought, the Arklab's crew are called to use it for the purposes of destruction when a hostage situation in the Middle East flares up the centuries old conflict between the two regions. Suspenseful and well crafted, THE NOAH'S ARK PRINCIPLE is an impressive looking debut from Mr. Emmerich whose prescient plot has lost none of its drama.DVD Features:Region 1Keep CaseAnamorphic Widescreen - 2.35:1Audio: Stereo - German Mono - EnglishAdditional Release Material: TrailersInteractive Features: Scene Access Interactive Menus
