Mexican legend Arturo De Cordova stars in CIELITO LINDO with bullfighter-turned-actor Pepe Ortiz and his wife Lupita Gallardo. De Cordova plays a captain of the revolutionary army during the Mexican Civil War who is rescued from execution; he also falls in love with the daughter of a hacienda owner who is sympathetic to his cause. But when he leaves to investigate the death of his brother, she falls for the man who rescued him from execution. The captain returns soon afterward, but he must choose between the woman he loves and the man to whom he owes his life.
