The political wounds inflicted on the Polish people during the post-Solidarity era are dramatized in this tragic film from world-renowned director Krzysztof Kieslowski. A dedicated attorney is busy building a defense for a fiery labor activist and strike organizer when he suddenly dies in an automobile accident. His widow, realizing too late how much she truly loved her husband, believes the only way for her to feel whole again is to further his cause. She hires an aging, compromising lawyer to take on this one last case. Ultimately, she realizes that no matter what social ramifications this trial has, her grief for her husband will never fade. Kieslowski's film is as much a political commentary as it is a metaphysical drama, one in which a deceased man continues to affect the world through his widow's absolute love. Umberto Lenzi (CANNIBAL FEROX) directed this rather bizarre, yet popular zombie movie. It stars Hugo Stiglitz as Dean Miller, a television reporter who is covering a nuclear accident in a major city. When a mysterious plane makes an emergency landing near the accident site, Miller goes to cover the story and watches as a horde of flesh eatining zombies burst out of the plane. These irradiated zombies behave nothing like their risen from the grave couterparts. In fact, they run to chase their prey and even use weapons when given the chance. Frightened by these super zombies, Miller grabs his wife and heads out of town. French director Jean Rollin's cult classic is a blend of comedy, lesbian sex, nudity, and madness. BACCHANALES SEXUELLES is the erotic tale of Valerie (Joelle Coeur), a pretty young girl who gets to watch her cousin's house for six months. On her first night there, she invites her girlfriend Sophie (Brigitte De Borghese) over for wild sex. Later on in the evening, crazed cult fanatics somehow manage to break into the house and accidentally kidnap Sophie. Valerie finds out that her cousin is a member of the group and is trying to frame its leader. When the cult leader catches wind of the plot, he sends a voluptuous french maid over to the house to seduce Valerie. After more wild sex, the whole mess is foiled by Sophie's promiscuous friend Fred.
